Starting at 05:04 UTC on 15 Jul 2017 a subset of customers using SQL Database in East US 2 may receive failure notifications when performing service management operations - such as create, update, delete - for resources hosted in this region, in addition to login failures. Engineers have identified a possible underlying cause, and are working to determine mitigation options. The next update will be provided in 60 minutes, or as events warrant.

Virtual Machines – East US 2

Starting at 03:45 UTC on 15 Jul 2017 customers using Virtual Machines in East US 2 may experience connection failures when trying to access a subset of Virtual Machines hosted in the region. These Virtual Machines may have also restarted unexpectedly. Other Azure services that leverage Storage may experience downstream impact. Engineers have found that a power disruption has resulted in an unexpected failure of power feeds to a single storage cluster and have now restored power to the cluster. Some customers should be seeing improvements in availability. The next update will be provided in 4 hours, or as events warrant.

Rond 19.18 uur kwam er een DDoS binnen, gericht op een IP van een klant van BIT. Dit kan tot tijdelijke onbereikbaarheid voor een deel van ons netwerk geleid hebben. De DDoS is omstreeks 19.20 uur succesvol gemitigeerd. Het incident is opgelost. Visual Studio Team Services – Intermittent Authentication Issues

Starting at approximately 15:20 UTC, a subset of customers may experience intermittent issues when attempting to authenticate to their Visual Studio Team Service accounts. Engineers have identified a backend service that is impacting requests from passing successfully. Engineers have implemented a possible fix and are taking additional extended mitigation steps. Azure Active Directory – Intermittent Authentication Issues

Starting at approximately 15:20 UTC, a subset of customers may experience intermittent difficulties when attempting to authenticate into their resources which are dependent on Azure Active Directory. A subset of customers attempting to authenticate to their Visual Studio Team Service accounts may also experience intermittent issues. Engineers are aware of this issue and are actively investigating appropriate mitigation steps. The next update will be provided in 60 minutes, or as events warrant.

Onderhoud glasvezelverbinding SARA – Telecity 1

Op dinsdag 11 juli tussen 0.00 uur en 6.00 uur zal Eurofiber onderhoud aan onze glasvezelverbinding in Amsterdam tussen TC1 en SARA. Tijdens dit onderhoud zal de verbinding meerdere uren onbeschikbaar zijn. Klanten met een DSL-verbinding van BIT zullen gedurende het onderhoud geen internetverbinding hebben. Mocht uw internetverbinding na dit onderhoud niet werken, dan raden wij u aan om uw modem uit en aan te zetten. Mocht uw internetverbinding daarna alsnog niet werken, neemt u dan contact met ons op. VPN Gateway – Applying Mitigation

Starting at 10:30 UTC on 01 Jul 2017 a subset of customers using VPN Gateway may experience intermittent failures when connecting to, or via, their VPN Gateways. Retries should be successful. In cases where retries do not succeed, customers can perform a Gateway double-reset as a workaround. This should restore the Gateway connectivity in a short period of time. Virtual Machines and HDInsight – West Europe

Starting at 08:00 UTC on 29 Jun 2017 a subset of customers using Virtual Machines in West Europe may receive error notifications when provisioning certain Virtual Machines series in this region. Starting Virtual Machines, which are currently in a "Stopped (Deallocated)” state may also return errors. Additionally, a subset of customers using HDInsight in West Europe may receive intermittent deployment failure notifications when creating new HDInsight clusters in this region. Engineers have identified a possible underlying cause, and are engaged in multiple workstreams to apply appropriate mitigation operations. Starting at 08:00 UTC on 29 Jun 2017 a subset of customers using HDInsight in West Europe may receive intermittent deployment failure notifications when creating new HDInsight clusters in this region.
